Email Design
While we all have many different ways to communicate to each other in the modern world, Email has stood the test of time and has continually proved itself the single strongest communication channel that a marketing department has at its disposal. When an email program is well designed and executed, the previous statement is supported by consistent ROI year over year and by KPI’s that meet and exceed expectations, regardless of the industry. However, email can severely fall short of the intended customer response for a seemingly endless number of reasons. If your code isn’t bullet proof, your audience isn’t well understood, or your messaging is divergent from your brand’s voice, then you are destined for some very bored orv potentially angry customers.
When I’ve designed emails for my various roles and clients, I always take into consideration the history of what’s been created before me. What has been tested and understood about an audience in the past, become integral to developing a desired outcome in the present. Through a well crafted message, enticing visuals, and an easily understood interface, emails I have developed have kept brands growing, income flowing, and subscribers happy.
